Title: Data Analyst

Reporting To: Head of Product

Role Overview

Ozone Project requires a Data Analyst to join their rapidly expanding team.

The objective of this role is to support the development of Ozone’s analytics function and products for the commercial team, which will require experience of working with data from a variety of platforms, including DSPs & SSPs, DMPs, DFP and Pre-Bid Server (Open RTB).

In this role you will work closely with a number of teams and inform the way Ozone works with key clients and stakeholders. You will be required to support these teams by providing commercial and statistical insights to inform:

  1. Development of strategic initiatives and products

  2. Specification for the improvement of analytical function including reporting and dashboards

  3. Ad hoc pitches and client management


  • Query and analyse detailed datasets to deliver reports and insights

  • Deliver recommendations to senior stakeholders, distilling complex datasets into valuable strategic insights

  • Drive the development of internal and external facing dashboards, reports and other analytics tools

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to augment existing data and analytics capabilities

  • Define hypotheses for improvement of operational and financial performance and steps to test/validate these

  • Define strategies to improve operational and financial performance

  • Provide valuable insights and advice/ help on the optimisation side

  • Provide insights for responding to briefs and supporting to provide data for pitches

  • Use data and insights tools for the relevant internal requirement

Your Experience

  • Deep understanding of digital advertising landscape

  • 5+ years experience in Data Analysis, Modelling and Reporting

  • 2+ years Data experience in programmatic advertising & header-bidding

  • 2+ years Platforms experience: GCP, Big Query, Data Studio

  • Languages: Strong SQL skills

  • Good understanding of commercial aspects of advertising

  • Experience of working with DMP’s

  • Experience of inventory and yield management
