Title: Programmatic Trader

Reporting To: Head of adops

Role Overview

Ideally from an Agency Trading Desk or other Programmatic platform, the candidate will have demonstrable experience and skills in targeting display, video and mobile campaigns. Liaising with all teams on a daily basis, the candidate must have extensive trading experience with a strong technical understanding of programmatic buying and RTB through major DSPs. They need to be self-motivated and have a passion for making campaigns a success. Not afraid to test a wide variety of optimisation methodologies.


Reporting to the Hd of Adops, you will have responsibility for the end to end management of multiple cross platform Display campaigns across premium publishers liaising closely with Account Management, Client and Agency Sales, Product and Technology & Analytics.

Your Experience

  • Min 2 year experience using multiple DSPs

  • Good understanding of ad serving technologies and how to implement and troubleshoot tags from a wide variety of vendors Inc Flashtalking, DCM, Sizmek etc

  • Demonstrable track record in optimising programmatic, direct response and brand advertising campaigns via real time buying platforms

  • Previous experience in display, video and mobile campaign optimisation, ideally on Web rather than in App

  • High success rate in hitting client goals – CTR, CPA, CPL, ROI, Viewability, Brand Safety etc

  • Strong understanding of UK publishers and exchanges

  • Clear communication and organisation skills – examples of working with clients and agencies

  • Good excel skills (pivot tables, lookup, formulas)/Strong analytical mindset

  • Basic understanding of SQL Queries, or appetite to learn

  • Strong problem solving related skills – able to discuss in interview

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a team

  • Good communication skills in order to liaise with agency ad ops and publisher contacts

  • Educated to degree level in Maths or other quantitative subject
