Title: Sales Planner

Reporting To: MD, Ozone Audience

Role Overview

The Sales Planner plays a pivotal role in the Ozone Project standing with agencies and clients direct, and will lead by example. Developing and presenting strategic marketing recommendations, and world class proposals in terms of look, feel and content. In time there is scope, dependent on success, to hire a team of Sales Planning experts. Gathering key data that ensures strategies are well informed and laid out, the Sales Planner knows their clients well and generates plans to ensure bring their brands and products success.

Writing clear and precise proposals and delivering world class decks, as a result of understanding our clients is an integral part of the job, involving inspiring and informing other teams in the business. The Sales Planner will have a passion for understanding the consumer and will encourage colleagues to feel the same. Solving problems with an analytical mind, will ensure strategies are productive and generate client satisfaction. The Sales Planner will thrive on working alone and in a team setting, and help the sales team pitch in successful ideas and generate revenue for the Ozone Project.

Typical activities

Depending on the task, the Sales Planner role will change, but these tasks are very common and should be expected:

  • Gathering data to develop well-informed and effective plans

  • Proactively researching clients to understand them and their objectives

  • Producing inventive ideas with other members of the team

  • Writing clear briefs that inspire team members to create exceptional work, during conceptual phase

  • Analysing clients to uncover opportunities to stimulate growth

Your Experience

The Sales Planner needs a wide range of abilities, which will include:

  • A proven track record in the development of strategic plans to benefit the client

  • The ability to understand the needs of consumers and target audiences

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Master at Google Slides, M’soft ppt and other presentation tools

  • The drive to help others succeed and reach their peak, this role in support of sales will be driving revenue and partnerships for the business

  • The insight to identify problems and take measures to rectify them

  • The resilience to work across a number of projects and balance a work load

  • An enthusiasm for digital and traditional marketing
