We’re looking for a Head of Trading to lead the Ozone Trading Ops team, who are focused on the day-to-day management of our managed service activity. Together with the team, the Head of Trading ensures that customer orders are fulfilled, client performance goals are achieved and delivery costs are managed. Working with the Sales Operations Director, this role will also prepare for the future to plan ahead, prioritising the delivery of new processes, innovations and product capability.
Responsibilities
You will manage and develop a high-performing Trading Ops team, setting clear goals and objectives to ensure client and business objectives are achieved and exceeded.
You will take ownership of capacity planning; identifying changes in needs and planning future resource requirements in order to support growth and innovation.
You will develop and implement a robust, reliable process framework that empowers your team to operate independently and proactively, improving campaign and business outcomes as a result.
You will have excellent programmatic buying knowledge with strong experience across major DSPs. You will use your understanding of how our customers think and behave to inform your team's approach to their servicing and client engagement.
You will be an expert in attribution, measurement, creative and audience strategies.
You will have the willingness, ability and expertise to (when required) manage campaign delivery, this includes the set up, trading and reporting of a campaign.
You will continually scan the market to understand emerging opportunities and customer needs. Along with ensuring yourself and your team are up to date on the latest industry trends.
You will work with a high-degree of independence, interpreting Ozone’s strategic priorities to inform your approach to your own team’s planning and execution of priorities.
You will be able to confidently deputise for the Sales Operations Director when required.
Required experience/skills
You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational experience.
You will be well-organised, proactive, detail-oriented with exceptional people and stakeholder management skills
You will have at least six years programmatic trading experience and at least two years of leadership / management experience.
You will have an outstanding understanding of the digital landscape and commercial aspects of advertising.
You will have very good working knowledge of DSPs and SSPs.
You will be able to initiate and manage multiple projects that align with the Ozone product road map.
