Deeper audience and content understanding with Ozone Ad Manager

An update to Ozone Ad Manager, our proprietary advertiser tool that provides our customers with in-depth insight and easy activation, enhances audience and content understanding from our near universal reach of the UK’s online population.

We have released a major update to Ozone Ad Manager, our advertiser tool that provides in-depth insight and easy campaign activation to Ozone customers. Central to the release is a suite of improvements that double down on the provision of access to unique, first-party data insights via the platform. 

The new features both deepen understanding into the breakdown of our audiences and provide further detail into the drivers behind content consumption behaviour from our near universal reach of the UK’s online population.

Audience insights

  • Search for or select from an expanded category list of more than 1,400 segments; from Buying & Selling Cars or Home Improvements to Consumer Banking or Sales & Promotions.

  • View insights to find out more about what they are reading, including the other content types they index most highly for, their levels of attention on specific subtopics, reading behaviour by daypart and examples of the types of articles read.

  • Get estimated monthly, weekly and daily reach figures for unique users by their levels of engagement; from those reading more often to readers who engage with particular content topics less frequently.

Content insights

  • Select up to six content categories or topics at a time and select a date range to view historical content consumption trends from November 2020 to the most recent seven-day period.

  • Choose between page views and unique users metrics to explore weekly engagement and audience trends for the given time period, with notable growth points plotted out.

  • Click weekly points on the visualisation to explore the detail behind what’s driving growth; from seasonality and one-off events, like Christmas and the World Cup, to the top articles by content category and topic.

Activation Request

It's now possible to submit your campaign details to be set live using Ozone Ad Manager

  • Select the ‘Campaigns & Deals’ feature to save a standard segment, pick a bespoke audience that you’ve created or request for a custom audience to be set up.

  • Specify the deal details, including campaign budget, date range and brand safety requirements, then pick the ad formats and primary KPIs.

  • Add contact information and review a summary of the deal or managed service request before submitting it. We’ll be in touch shortly after to set things up.
