Ozone wins 'Best Scale Up Business' accolade

Ozone picked up the prestigious award at The Marketing Society Awards 2022. Bryan, our marketing lead highlights why we’re so chuffed with this win.

Hot on the heels of our double win at the Digiday Awards, the Ozone team was celebrating once again as we picked up Best Scale Up Business at The Marketing Society Awards 2022.

Every award nomination is incredibly important to the Ozone team. They represent a clear sign that we’re doing the right things and demonstrating the right kind of success through our business. We’ve been lucky enough to have been shortlisted for many awards – and won a fair few too – but for me as a marketer, this most recent award is probably the most special.

The reason is quite simple: it was judged and voted for by some of the top marketing talent in the country. As submissions go, these ones are quite chunky – a 3,000 word count – and it’s great to hear that our story really resonated with the judges. As we’ve come out of the pandemic, Ozone has certainly made the move from the start up phase and into a scale up business, and this award really recognises the growth we’ve demonstrated across the board; be it in terms of revenue, product development, publisher partnerships, advertising performance or our own talent.

There was also a great sense of pride in being recognised in a room full of the exact people our business was created to help. And we were among great company with our fellow winners too – a roster that included Dove, Tesco, Waitrose, Camelot, Childline, Nationwide, TUI, Birds Eye, TfL and O2 to name just a few.

All in all, we’re thrilled with the latest addition to our trophy cabinet. A huge thanks to The Marketing Society, the judges and, of course, to The Founding Network who sponsored this category.
